Job Description:
We are seeking a Remote Mechanical Engineer to join our distributed team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
- Collaborate with remote teams to define mechanical specifications and requirements.
- Create detailed drawings, models, and prototypes of mechanical designs.
- Perform simulations and calculations to ensure mechanical integrity and performance.
- Evaluate materials and manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness and feasibility.
- Communicate design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders remotely.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding).
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
