Job Description:
We are seeking a Localization Specialist to adapt content and products for different markets and cultures. In this role, you will ensure that products and services meet the linguistic and cultural requirements of target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate localization projects and manage translation vendors.
- Adapt content, websites, and software for different languages and regions.
- Conduct linguistic and cultural assessments to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including translators, developers, and marketers.
- Develop and maintain localization guidelines and best practices.
- Test localized products and services to identify and resolve issues.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on localization processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Localization, Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in localization or translation.
- Proficiency in at least two languages, including English and a target language.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with localization tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Localization or related field.
- Certification in localization or project management.
