Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other systems.
- Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or on-site.
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
- Stay updated with technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Office 365, Google Workspace).
